Assistance League Continues Support for Local Families

Still Caring, always helping…Assistance League of Northern Virginia is proud that, since last spring, it has been able to deliver 400 $20 grocery gift cards each month to the neediest students and their families at the six elementary schools that previously received its Weekend Food for Kids deliveries. During February, the nonprofit also donated more than 800 new books to 4 schools for its Action Week efforts to promote Literacy, and provided hand-made hats and scarves and toiletries. Unfortunately, it is impossible for Assistance League to continue this level of help without the generosity of friends and supporters.
