Homeward Trails Animal Rescue is helping miracle dog Nola find her forever home.

FAIRFAX STATION, VA —Nola is a miracle dog! She's defied the odds of so many challenges. She recently had puppies at 8-years-old, suffering from mastitis, and getting a tumor removed.mBut now she's ready to find a home and she's the perfect dog.
Nola loves anything that breathes — Kids, cats, dogs, you name it.
She is looking for a home that has another furry playmate or two, who can give this love bug some love. Families please apply.

She’s very active for an 8-year-old pup, but will need a calm environment for her heartworm treatment. Nothing crazy! Just a couple months of low key activities until her treatment is done. And it's hot outside anyway so perfect timing. (It’s a great time for learning fun tricks and chewing bully sticks.)
Once her treatment is complete, she can run and play to her heart's content.

Homeward Trails Animal Rescue adopts pets to homes in Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland. Anyone interested in our animals can complete an adoption questionnaire. We work with applicants to ensure a good match between them and the pet and vice versa, the adoption questionnaire is how we start the adoption discussion. Most of our animals are in foster homes in the area. Others are available to meet by appointment at our Adoption Center.
