Chesterbrook Academy Students Donate Toys to Children in Need

Students held a gift drive in support of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Clifton recently collected more than 80 toys and gifts to benefit Toys for Tots, a gift drive run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Throughout December, students held a school-wide drive to collect a variety of gifts for children of all ages. At the close of the drive, a representative from the organization stopped by Chesterbrook Academy to pick up the donations from students. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others, especially during the holiday season.

Toys for Tots, a 70-year national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, provides happiness and hope to less fortunate children during each holiday season. The toys, books and other gifts collected and distributed by Marines and volunteers offer these children recognition, confidence and a positive memory for a lifetime.
