Clifton Day Still Planned For Sunday Despite String of Rainy Days

Update: After four straight days of rainy weather, there's a 40 percent chance of rain on Sunday, Oct. 15, and the annual Clifton Day celebration will still be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

But just in case - the rain date is Oct. 20! Stay with Patch for updates in case of a washout!  

"However, we will continue to keep a close eye on the weather and post updates to the event’s website (www.CliftonDay.com) and Facebook page over the weekend," wrote Barbara Hutto, the chair of Clifton Day, in an email.  

What to expect: Historic Main St. is the stage for the annual festival, which raises funds for a number of local organizations.  The festival includes arts and crafts, antiques, demonstrations, the Town Market, live music, children’s activities and lots of good food.
