DAR Day of Service
In observance of DAR Day of Service, Anna Maria Fitzhugh Chapter in Springfield, had the privilege of cleaning the Vietnam Memorial Wall on Saturday, October 5. Arriving in the dark and watching the sunrise on the Wall was a beautiful and memorable experience for chapter members. Tokens of love placed by family and friends were carefully removed and returned to their place during the cleaning process. Anna Maria Fitzhugh Chapter members are truly grateful to all of our nation's veterans who sacrifieced their lives in the name of freedom. God Bless America!
