Fairfax Little League All Stars - Back to Back District 10 Champs
It's every little leaguer's dream to play in the Little League World Series. Fairfax's "Big Red" just got closer to making it a reality.

Fairfax Little League's National League 11-12 year old all star team (a.k.a Big Red) won the District 10 championship on Monday, July 9th, beating Annandale-North Springfield Little League (ANSLL) 3-2. The win earned Big Red a second straight trip to the Virginia State Tournament, held this year in Roanoke, Virginia.
It wasn’t an easy road to Roanoke for Big Red.
After running into trouble against the Southwestern Youth Association's (SYA) East all stars, losing 13-7, Big Red steamrolled past Coles/Manassas all stars 15-0 and then beat Fairfax Little League's American League all star team 9-6. With a 2-1 record, Big Red needed Coles to break a potential three-way tie, which they did, defeating SYA East 5-4. Coles's win lifted Big Red into the semi-finals.
