Fairfax Station Ranked High on Best Places to Live in Virginia
New rankings from Niche break down the best places to live in Virginia, and Fairfax Station made the list.

FAIRFAX STATION, VA — Where's the best place to live in Virginia? That depends on who you ask and according to a new set of rankings released by Niche.com, Fairfax Station, a suburb of the nation’s capital, is the 29th-best place to live in the Commonwealth.
Here's what one resident had to say, according to the website: ". . . The public school system great with some of the high schools appearing on the US News and World report list of top 100 schools in the country. The commute and traffic are a downfall even thought there is access to several types of public transportation. The crime rate is low. There is a diverse population."
The ranking looked at several factors, such as public schools, a family friendly environment, crime and safety, diversity and housing. Fairfax Station received an A for its public schools, A-plus for a family friendly environment, B-plus for diversity and a B-plus for nightlife. Click here to read more about the methodology.
