Rescue Me: Doodle Is A Goofy Cat Who Loves To Play

FAIRFAX STATION, VA — Doodle, A 2-year-old domestic shorthair, is a big goof. She loves toys and even if she's sound asleep, she'll wake right up to play. She's very dog-like and will follow you around. She wants to be where the action is and will even remind you she's around with a little meow. While she's not necessarily a lap cat, she does want to be nearby on the couch. She also loves watching the birds, so would love a home with big windows.

Doodle is at Meow Palace and can be met during weekend adoption hours. Her adoption fee is waived this Saturday as part of Homeward Trails' Express Trail Home promotion.

Homeward Trails Animal Rescue adopts pets to homes in Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland. Anyone interested in our animals can complete an adoption questionnaire. We work with applicants to ensure a good match between them and the pet and vice versa, the adoption questionnaire is how we start the adoption discussion. Most of our animals are in foster homes in the area. Others are available to meet by appointment at our Adoption Center.
