Rescue Me: Let Tony Barks Be Your Marvel Superhero

FAIRFAX STATION, VA — Tony Barks, like Tony Stark but in dog form, is a 3-year-old Retriever/Lab mix.

Tony is a happy fellow that is looking for his forever home. Tony would prefer to live with adults, who are more predictable. His favorite activities are playing with his humans, running, playing, and treats. Oh, and treats. Oh, we said that already — but yes, treats! He knows basic commands and because he's so treat motivated is willing to learn many more!

Homeward Trails Animal Rescue adopts pets to homes in Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland. Anyone interested in our animals can complete an adoption questionnaire. We work with applicants to ensure a good match between them and the pet and vice versa, the adoption questionnaire is how we start the adoption discussion. Most of our animals are in foster homes in the area. Others are available to meet by appointment at our Adoption Center.
