Rescue Me: Pampered Pooch Needs New Home To Love
Shiloh's owner recently died and this 11-year-old dog needs to find a new home.
FAIRFAX STATION, VA — Shiloh has had a rough few months. His owner passed away, someone he'd spent his whole life with. They were the best of friends, but now he's gone. His owner's daughter couldn't keep Shiloh so he ended up at a rural Virginia shelter. A shelter is a rough place for an 11-year old to try to find an adopter. Especially for a dog like Shiloh who spent his whole life being pampered and living in a home.
Shiloh came to Homeward Trails last week and has been thriving in his foster home. He loves humans of all ages, including kids! His pastimes include riding ATVs, taking in the great outdoors, and hanging out with other dogs. Shiloh is gentle and walks well on a leash.
Shiloh is also very intelligent and loves squeak toys.
