Rescue Me: Sally Is A Standout Member Of The Good Dog Club

Sally started out as a shy pooch, but she's learned how much fun it is to meet new people.

FAIRFAX STATION, VA — When Sally, a 5 1/2-year-old corgi/shepard mix, arrived at Homeward Trails, she was pretty shy. But because she's been with us for a while, she's taken that opportunity to work on some growth and establish some goals. She has learned to be best friends with dogs and learned how much fun it is to meet new people.

Sally will be continuing this development through our new Good Dog Club. It's a training program where dogs learn basic skills and then move on to more detailed work. Good news — Sally has already mastered her basic skills and has moved on to phase two.

She prefers a home without other pets, because she's a star and no one shines brighter than her. Her adoption fee is waived and she comes with some of her essentials, including her orange lizard toy that goes with her everywhere.
