VDOT: I-95/395 Closures This Week
All lanes will be open by 5 a.m. every morning.
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close multiple lanes on Interstate 95/395 north and south, from Garrisonville Road (Route 610) Exit 143 in Stafford, to Duke Street (Route 236) Exit 3, Sunday through Thursday nights, Aug. 26 - 30.
Closures are scheduled to begin at 9:30 p.m. and last through 5 a.m., according to VDOT.
The lane closures are in place for barrier placement, test bores and other related construction work on the new 95 Express Lanes project. This work is in addition to nightly High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane closures for 95 Express Lanes work.

All lane closures will be suspended for the upcoming Labor Day Holiday weekend, from noon on Friday, Aug. 31, until noon on Tuesday, Sept. 4.
