Three passengers from Woodbridge died Sunday when their car was hit in a collision on Courthouse Road, say Virginia State Police.

A 2002 Honda Accord was moving west on Courthouse Road when it ran off of the right shoulder. "The driver over-corrected, which caused the Honda to cross the center-line, and collide with an eastbound 2012 Acura MDX," the state police said in a statement.
The Honda's driver, Denia A. Brizuela-Pascual, 22, of Woodbridge, was taken to Mary Washington Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. She was wearing a seat belt, the state police said.
