Bank Robber At Large In Stafford County: Police
The Stafford County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who robbed a SunTrust Bank on Prosperity Lane in Stafford on Tuesday morning.
STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A bank robber is at large in Stafford County. The Stafford County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who robbed the SunTrust Bank at 40 Prosperity Lane on Tuesday morning.
Authorities described the suspect as a white man with dark glasses and a brown hooded sweatshirt. The suspect fled the scene of the robbery on foot, police said.
The Stafford County Sheriff's Office said they received "a silent hold-up alarm" from the bank at 10:46 a.m. on Tuesday, April 27. Within an hour, the sheriff's office released a video at the scene warning the public of heavy police presence in the area.

The sheriff's office said they have deployed a drone team and K-9 units to search the area. The suspect was last seen running across Garrisonville Road.
