How Fredericksburg Precincts Voted In 2020 Presidential Election
Absentee votes counted in a central absentee precinct were largely for Joe Biden. Donald Trump received more votes at two polling places.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Voters in Fredericksburg voted in favor of former Vice President Joe Biden for president. They also gave Sen. Mark Warner (D) a resounding victory in the city and voted in large numbers for Qasim Rashid, who lost in his bid to unseat Rep. Robert Wittman in the 1st Congressional District.
Biden won 8,454 votes, or 66.17 percent of the ballots in Fredericksburg, compared to 4,016, or 31.43 percent, for President Donald Trump, according to unofficial results.
In the Senate race, Warner received 8,434 votes, or 67.44 of the ballots, vs. 4,061, or 32.47 percent, for his Republican challenger Daniel Gade.

In the 1st Congressional District, Qasim Rashid easily defeated Rep. Robert Wittman in Fredericksburg, getting 7,631 votes, or 61.23 percent of the ballots cast. Wittman received 4,807 votes, or 38.57 percent of the ballots.
Rashid also easily defeated Wittman in the Prince William County portion of the 1st Congressional District. Wittman was able to beat Rashid district-wide — 244,212 votes vs. 170,771 — because of strong support for the incumbent in Stafford County and the areas in the district south of Fredericksburg to Williamsburg.

Like the rest of the state, Fredericksburg residents voted strongly in favor of the two constitutional amendments: one on the creation of a redistricting commission and the other on exempting military personnel from state and local taxation on vehicles.
On the precinct level, Biden dominated the ballots counted at the central absentee precinct. Among the votes cast on Election Day, Trump received more votes at two out of the five voting precincts in Fredericksburg.
