Christmas Parade, Tours: Fredericksburg 2019 Holiday Events

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Kick off the 2019 holiday season on Saturday, Dec. 7, with the Fredericksburg Christmas Parade in downtown. The parade begins at 5:30 p.m. Streets in downtown will close for the festive event.

Fredericksburg will be hosting other holiday events throughout the month of December. Check out the calendar for an event that interests you.

Dec. 21-22 — The Nutcracker performed by the Fredericksburg City Ballet Company and the Academy of Ballet, James Monroe High School Auditorium, 2300 Washington Ave, 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21 and 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 22.

Dec. 21 — Cookies With Santa, for 2 to 10-year-olds, Dorothy Hart Community Center, 408 Canal Street, 2 p.m.
