Diamond Rio, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band Coming To Fredericksburg
The Oct. 5 concert is part of the After Hours Concert Series at Marks & Harrison Amphitheater in Fredericksburg.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Country music group Diamond Rio and Nitty Gritty Dirt Band are set to perform in Fredericksburg as part of the After Hours Concert Series at Marks & Harrison Amphitheater. Tickets are on sale now for the Oct. 5 concert.
Formed in 1989 in Nashville, the six-man band Diamond Rio recently celebrated their 30th anniversary as a group. The band has sold more than 10 million albums, won a Grammy Award, a Dove Award, and multiple Country Music and Academy of Country Music awards.
Nitty Gritty Dirt Band remains one of the most accomplished bands in American roots music. Following an extended 50th anniversary tour, the ensemble grew to a six-piece in 2018 -- the first time since their early jug band days.

Tickets for the concert can be purchased online or by phone at 1-800-514-3849. A limited number of $20 earlybird tickets are available for one week only. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., and the concert starts at 7:30 p.m. All events are rain or shine.
Tickets are also on sale for 38 Special on Aug. 17, Joe Nichols and Rodney Atkins on Sept. 8, and Cole Swindell on Sept. 13.
