The Architectural Review Board maintains the historic and architectural integrity of designated areas within the city of Fredericksburg.Meetings are held on the second a fourth monday of every month at 7:30 p.m.
The board is made up of seven city residents, appointed to four year terms. One must be a registered architect or architectural historian, one must have professional trainining or equivalent experience in architecture, history, architectural history, archaeology or planning.

As of January, 2012 the liason for the ARB is Erik Nelson, Senior Planner with the Fredericksburg Planning and Community Development Department.
