FREDERICKSBURG, VA — The first snow of 2020 didn't arrive without problems as slippery roads caused slow traveling in some areas. But once you were off the roads and warming up in your home, you could simply enjoy the view of the snow falling.

Preliminary snowfall measurements from the National Weather Service indicate areas in and around Fredericksburg received between a half-inch and 2.5 inches of snow on Tuesday. Although not a big snow storm, the snow presented picture-perfect photo opps around Fredericksburg. That's why we asked Patch readers to send photos of how the snow looked outside their windows.
