Food Truck Rodeo Saturday In Spotsylvania

SPOTSYLVANIA, VA — If you like a like a wide variety of food, beer, music and, well, ballet, you might want to check out this particular gathering Saturday at 9019 Old Battlefield Boulevard. It's the annual Courthouse Village Food Truck Rodeo, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

To go with the food and drink, there will be a performance by the Courthouse School of Ballet and Christian Youth Theater. Providing beer (in the beer garden) will be the Maltese Brewing Company.

The 20-plus food trucks will be competing for "people's choice" awards. Voting ends at 2:30. The trophies were designed and created by local artesian Hunter Perkinson, a 1973 graduate of Spotsylvania High School.

Tables will be available but folks who want to bring blankets or lawn chairs—of their well-behaved dogs—are encouraged to do so.
