FREDERICKSBURG, VA — With 2019 nearly extinct and a new decade ready to take its turn in the spotlight, there are plenty of celebratory options in the immediate Fredericksburg area and elsewhere in Northern Virginia.

2020 New Year's Eve Extravaganza featuring NuCorp: Doors open at 7 p.m. on Dec. 31
The Fredericksburg Hospitality House & Shannon's Bar & Grille presents this New Year's party, with doors opening at 7 p.m. Entertainment from 9 p.m.-1 a.m. A champagne toast will take place at midnight. Hard Times NYE Celebration: 9 p.m. on Dec. 31 to 1:30 a.m. on Jan. 1
Join DJ kid Kasper, DJ CYD and the Hard Times staff as they ring in the New Year from 9 p.m. on Dec. 31 to 1:30 a.m. on Jan. 1 with a mega ballon drop, champagne toast and awesome drink specials. New Year's Eve at La Petite Auberge: Guests will be seated starting at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 31
Enjoy a decadent five-course dinner on New Year’s Eve. Two seatings svailable. First seating from 5:30 p.m.- 6 p.m. Second seating from 8 p.m.-9:30 p.m. Check out the special New Year's Eve menu. New Year's Eve at the Chimneys: Doors open at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 31
Come bring on the 20's at Billiken's. The Great Gatsby Roaring 20's Night will be filled with delicious food, drinks and music. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 8:30 p.m. Tickets include a three course meal, a free drink ticket, a champagne toast at midnight, live jazz music and much more. Ride into the New Year at Fun Land: 7 p.m. on Dec. 31 to 1 a.m. on Jan. 1
Celebrate with live DJs, games, prizes, giveaways, a huge balloon drop, a NYE photo booth, face painting and much more from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. More than $1,000 in play cards and prizes will given away throughout the night. Entry to the park is free for all ages. Annual pass members arriving after 7 p.m. can purchase their wristband for $10.
