Jem is a young pup of just 9 months old, which means he is still learning how to be the best boy he can be. Jem, who is available for adoption from the Fredericksburg SPCA, has a ton of energy. Let's repeat: this Jem is high-vibe!

He has had the best time getting his zoomies out in playgroups at the Fredericksburg SPCA and enjoying the other dogs at doggy daycare. He is extremely intelligent and has benefited greatly from training with staff, fosters and volunteers.

He's a boy of many likes: ear rubs, chin scratches, meatball treats, squeaky toys ... you name it —Jem is not hard at all to please.

Jem would love a family who will continue to set boundaries with him to set him up for success. Easy to train and smart — so don't let those puppy eyes fool you. Do you need a play pal for the bored dog in your home? Jem could be the new bestie on the block.
