FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Alley, who is available for adoption from the Fredericksburg SPCA, is a special girl and not just because of her lovable and exuberant personality.

Ginger cats are roughly 80 percent male, so she falls in the rare 20 percent of female ginger kitties. If her genetics weren't enough to turn your head, just you wait until she sings you a song. Her meow and coos are so frequent, we think she might be vying to start her own girl group. Maybe the Pumpkin-Spice Girls?

Her coat coloring may fit right into the autumn season. But Alley is a year-round snuggler with other cats. Playing and napping with her foster cat friends is one of her favorite activities, so if you have a cat needing a buddy, Alley might be their new bestie.

At 4 years old, she is an independent girl who doesn't need much, but if you have a feather-wand toy, it's game over.
