FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Oh, Danny boy! Danny is barely an adult. He's just shy of over a year old and still has all the energy and smarts of a young puppy.

Danny, who is available for adoption from the Fredericksburg SPCA, loves to get his zoomies out with other dogs at the SPCA in playgroups.

He's loved burning his energy off by running laps around and around and around with the other dogs. If you are looking for a playmate for that energetic dog in your life, set up a meet-and-greet with the SPCA team.

Danny has very few dislikes in his life, but his top two are felines and windshield wipers. He will lay his head down on your arm when you're out and about driving, so he knows he'll be safe from those pesky wipers or automatic windows in time. But cats — he's confident he will never change his mind about those pesky animals.

Danny is silly and affectionate, and it takes him no time at all to warm up to the new people he has met. The gold flecks in his fur are as captivating as his golden eyes.
