Fredericksburg Pet Of The Week: Emma Loves To Play With Her Pals

Emma, who is available for adoption, has come out of her shell and gained confidence with the help of the other dogs in her foster home.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — The Fredericksburg SPCA partnered with other rescue groups and shelters to pull more than 50 dogs from a situation along the Tennessee/Virginia border in early August. Emma was one of those many dogs, and she is thriving with the folks at the Fredericksburg SPCA.

Emma has been decompressing and getting healthy in foster care and couldn't be happier to have other dogs around her with whom to play and snuggle. She is a young girl at just over a year old. The other dogs in her foster home have helped her come out of her shell and gain confidence.

When they are all napping together on the bed, you'd think Emma would have been there forever. She has a great, goofy smile and loves to get silly and roll around in the grass, her big floppy ears trailing behind her.
