Fredericksburg Pet Of Week: Tinkerbell Will Light Up Your Home

Tinkerbell, who is available for adoption from the Fredericksburg SPCA, seeks out affection every afternoon with her head bumps.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Tinkerbell is just like her namesake — beautiful, fun and just big enough for one emotion at a time.

Tinkerbell has been in the Fredericksburg SPCA's Shelter Programs office for the past few weeks, learning to trust and open up to staff. At first, she wanted nothing to do with her office servants. But a few bags of treats and meaty tubes later, Tinkerbell has made a magical transformation.

She is looking for a home that would like to continue her journey of trust and friendship. She thinks she's a tiger, but really she's a tabby. She loves to hunt dehydrated salmon treats wrapped in post-it notes to stimulate her senses. She's not terribly fond of other cats but has shared the office space with numerous dog friends.
