Fredericksburg Pet Of The Week: Vlad The Adorable Up For Adoption

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Vlad is a showstopper! With his black-heart trademark nose, his adorableness stops you in your tracks. But what really wins you over is this outgoing boy's purrsonality.

The Fredericksburg SPCA, where Vlad is available for adoption, is sure that he was in a boy band before coming to the shelter since all he wants to do is sing and get attention from his adoring fans. He will take payment for crooning you with an extensive session of ear rubs.

A young boy of just 1.5 years, Vlad loves to explore and be in the middle of the action. At the shelter, he often followed Animal Care Technicians right out of his condo and walked down the hall with them as their sneaky little shadow.

In foster care, he's equally as interested in being in the center of the family and has tried to follow them right out the door. A companion for life, Vlad is just a boy looking for love!

Vlad had the chance to meet Fredericksburg Nationals mascot Gus and was in heaven sitting on his chest, soaking in all the attention. He thinks Gus should upgrade his nose to the black-heart-trademark, but was super happy to make a new friend.
