Gala At The Ballpark Hosted By Fredericksburg Chamber Of Commerce
The Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce will host their 30th annual awards and gala on Friday, April 30 at the New Fredericksburg Ballpark.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Public events are returning to the Fredericksburg region. The Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce will welcome 500 attendees to the New Fredericksburg Ballpark for its 30th annual awards and gala on Friday, April 30.
The chamber said the event intends to celebrate the successes and resiliency of small businesses after a challenging year. The COVID-19 pandemic affected businesses across the country, who had to shift their business models and adapt new policies and practices to protect employees and customers from the coronavirus.
Susan Spears is the president and CEO of the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce. In a news release, she was optimistic that the financial difficulties of the pandemic were in the past.

"Small businesses have a lot to celebrate," Spears said. "They have survived the most difficult economic conditions in modern history. We will gather together to celebrate them, and we encourage everyone to come out and join us."

The gala will host 500 attendees at the ballpark's 5,000 seat stadium. This will be the first non-profit, in-person gala in Fredericksburg in more than a year, according to the chamber's news release.
The event will also feature a silent auction. Anyone interested in attending the gala can reserve their spot on the chamber's website.
