Imbibe Craft Beer & Arts Festival On Tap For Fredericksburg

FREDERICKSBURG, VA—Spring music fests have to be counted among the coolest things around, and a new one's coming to town this spring. Say hello to the Imbibe Craft Beer & Arts Festival, set for April 6 at the Fredericksburg Field House, 3411 Shannan Park Drive.

Actually Imbibe is a hybrid of live music and, well, beer—all kinds of beer. More than 40 breweries will be represented, with most from Virginia and some from out of state. As for the music, on hand will be the North Mississippi Allstars, the People's Blues of Richmond and The Trongone Band.

Also featured is a "curated Artisan Market," with around 20 artists from around the region with all manner of handmade wares. As for food, there will be myriad offerings from food trucks as well as area restaurants. Not into beer? No problem, as there's a "Craft Soda Garden" with plenty of unique beverages.

WHO WE HELP: This event will benefit PlayOn, the charitable arm of FXBG Chamber member, Eastern Sports Management. They are working hard to ensure that every person, young or old, is given the opportunity to stay active and to receive all of the benefits of sports, fitness, and recreation. Proceeds will aid in the development of new programs and subsidize the cost of making existing programs accessible to area youths and adults in need.
