Joyce L. O'Connor, 47, of Fredericksburg passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Mary Washington Hospital after a brave battle with soft tissue sarcoma.Mrs. O'Connor was employed at Dr. Ahmadiyar DDS and Associates of Fredericksburg.She is survived by her husband, Thomas M. O'Connor; two sons, Shalan and Colin O'Connor both of Fredericksburg; her parents, Wayne and Darline Hamerschlag of California; brothers John and Mark Hamerschlag both of California; mother-in-law Julia O'Connor of Fredericksburg.A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, at Covenant Funeral Service Fredericksburg Chapel.
