Northern Virginia's weekend weather forecast looks pretty good for the most part, although Sunday will be something of a question mark.
STERLING, VA—First day great. Second day OK. That's pretty much how the weekend weather is shaping up for the Northern Virginia area, with no real threats of rain until Sunday. So says the National Weather Service and other area forecasting outlets.
Saturday is a steady-as-she-goes deal, with scant chance of anything distasteful. As for Sunday, consider this from the Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang: "Highs head for the mid- and upper 80s under partly sunny skies. Afternoon storms could be strong in spots, but widespread severe weather doesn’t seem likely."
