One Dead After Tractor-Trailers Crash On I-95 Near Fredericksburg
I-95 southbound traffic at the Rappahannock River Bridge in Fredericksburg was stopped by a crash involving two tractor-trailers and a car.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — One person died Tuesday morning in a crash on I-95 southbound outside Fredericksburg, according to police.
Around 4 a.m. Tuesday morning, there was a crash involving two tractor-trailers on the Rappahannock River Bridge, just outside Fredericksburg, authorities said. The crash also involved another passenger vehicle, and resulted in one of the tractor-trailers flipping onto its side, according to authorities.
Traffic was slowed for several hours, with only the left lane of traffic available to bypass the scene. The crash occurred on the border between the City of Fredericksburg and Stafford County, near mile marker 131.

The Virginia State Police have not yet released the identity of the person who was killed.
