Rescue Crews Remove Injured Man From Riverbank
Fredericksburg Fire Department Deputy Fire Chief said man had a broken ankle.

A man has been transported to after he fell down near the Rappahannock River bank Sunday, Fredericksburg Fire Department Deputy Fire Chief Mike Jones said in an email.
Jones said a 29-year-old man fell across the riverbank from 400 Riverside Drive in Fredericksburg.
The Fredericksburg Fire Department had assistance from Stafford County to do a low-angle technical rescue, Jones said.

Jones said the patient had a broken ankle and was unable to walk, so he was taken out with a Stokes basket.
The time of the incident was not immediately available.
