Rescue Me: Diane and Darcy Hope You Have Room For Two

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Two bonded cats at the Fredericksburg SPCA are ready to find their forever homes. Darcy and Diane have been in foster care since November 2020.

Darcy and Diane only weigh about five pounds, but don't let their size fool you: these kitties are full of energy, according to their foster mom. "They are good kids - playful and sweet," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "They are still learning that humans aren't all that big and scary, so we think they'd thrive in a home where their quiet souls can be given a chance to continue to blossom."

Though the cats have been in foster care since November, they will still need a bit of time to adapt to new humans. Still, the SPCA hasn't given up on finding these kitties a home together. "They didn't come this far just to come this far!," the SPCA said.

Darcy and Diane have been in foster care with other cats, so they could be a great addition to a household that already has a pet. "They play shy at first," the SPCA said. "But they can be persuaded with a Churu tube and a good wand toy!"

When you adopt two animals from the Fredericksburg SPCA, they waive the adoption fee for the second pet. So, keeping Darcy and Diane together won't break the bank.
