Rescue Me: Foxy The Dog Is A Classy Lady Who Needs A Home

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Foxy is a classy older dog who is available for adoption now at the Fredericksburg SPCA. Although she is 9 years old, Foxy has plenty of energy and love to spare.

"Don't let her age fool you, she has plenty of love to give," the SPCA said. "This gentle girl loves to hang out with people all the time and has the best house manners."

Foxy has spent time in foster care and received rave reviews from her foster family. "her foster mom reports that this old gal can still learn a bunch of new tricks and loves to please," the SPCA said. Foxy's foster family also noted that she is "a social girl and a great listener."

"Foxy thinks that her number one purpose in life is to be your personal shadow, so get ready to be loved unconditionally," the SPCA said. Foxy enjoys exercise and playtime, too. "Foxy gets along great with her canine foster sibling and she loves to play."

Looking for a walking buddy? Foxy would be a perfect fit. "When you take long walks after dinner - count her in," the SPCA said. Still, as an older dog, Foxy appreciates a steady sleep schedule, too. "When you sleep, she sleeps."
