Rescue Me: Gertrude The Dog Loves To Sniff And Bark

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Gertrude is a dog who is available for adoption now at the Fredericksburg SPCA. She loves to sniff and bark, and is looking for a home to call her own.

"Gertrude is the absolute best at baying," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "She has a unique bay, or bark, that kind of sounds like bubbles!"

This unique young lady would love to join a family to explore the world with. She is about two years old and has already been spayed, according to the SPCA.

"This 2-year-old is a super social gal that is always willing to make new friends," the SPCA said. "Her happy place is outside on walks with her people, because that is where she can do her best sniffing."

Gertrude isn't exactly a small lady; she weighs over 40 pounds. Her floppy ears and adorable snout are calling out to anyone who needs a new family member.

"We'd say that is one boopable snoot on this cutie," the SPCA said. "This inquisitive little lady can't wait to explore the great big, interesting world with you."
