Robert C. Young Sr., 51

Robert C. Young Sr., age 51, was swept into the arms of God on November 12, 2015. He was born on November 21, 1963 to the late Carl Young Sr. and Vivian Gentry. Mr. Young was retired from a construction career and was a member of the Life Empowerment Ministries. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and family man but mostly loved diet Pepsi, WaWa coffee, and all types of food. Mr. Young loved taking his grandchildren fishing, and was their biggest sideline fan when it came to their sports.

Robert “Charlie” was preceded in death by brother Carl Young Jr. Survived by his wife of 34 years, Joan Marie Young; daughter: Cyndi Hoosier and husband Jimmy; two sons: Robert Young Jr. and wife Shannon, and Chris Young and wife Ashley; three brothers: William, George, and Jimmy; three sisters: Susan “Sue” and husband Jim, Dorothy, and Ann; four grandchildren: James, Dylan, Isabella, and Kalee; three step-grandchildren: Damon, Tyler, and Joseph; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Covenant Funeral Service, 4801 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Fredericksburg, VA. 22408 on Thursday, November, 19, 2015 from 12-2PM with a service at 2PM in the funeral home chapel. Dinner will be open to all family and friends at Life Empowerment Ministries, 261 Cambridge St, Fredericksburg, VA. 22405.
