Scouts Host 'Luminaria At Home' Virtual Memorial Day Ceremony

Local Scouts honored the men and women who have given their lives to protect the United States on Monday.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA – Local Scouts honored the men and women who have given their lives to protect the United States on Monday with a Memorial Day "Luminaria at Home."

Boy Scouts of America Girl and Boy Scout Troop 191 of King George encouraged residents to show their support in honor of Memorial Day by lighting a tea candle in a white paper bag and placing it at the end of their driveway on Monday night.

Local troops around the area honored the fallen through a variety of tributes, while maintaining safe social distancing.
