UPDATE: Missing Stafford Senior Found In Hanover: Police

A man from Stafford County who was reported as missing has been found in Hanover, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

Joseph Jackson, a 78-year-old Fredericksburg resident, was reported as missing on Tuesday. Police issued a senior alert and said Jackson may be driving a silver 2016 Jeep Cherokee. He was located in Hanover.

FREDRICKSBURG, VA — Joseph Jackson, a 78-year-old man from Stafford County, has been located safely in Hanover, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

A senior alert was issued for Jackson after he went missing on Tuesday evening, police said.

Authorities with Virginia State Police and the Stafford County Sheriff's Office searched for Jackson. They also requested assistance from the public in locating him.
