FREDERICKSBURG, VA—Central Virginia could be in for another round of wicked weather Friday, just a week after storms left some in the Fredericksburg area without power. That's the word from John Boyer, staff meteorologist for the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

According to the newspaper, "The strongest storms could bring damaging gusts and power outages, and a tornado or two can't be ruled out somewhere in our region. We could see two or three waves of rain and thunder move through central Virginia on Friday, but most of the severe weather chance will exist between noon and 7 p.m."
