Sheriff Charges Three Teens with Larceny and Vandalism in Spotsylvania
The Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office worked in cooperation with subdivision residents.

The Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office has charged two 17-year-olds and a 16-year-old with 11 counts of larceny and 11 counts of vandalism from incidents in the Stoneybrooke and the Luck Stone Quarry subdivisions.
The sheriff’s office announced Thursday that it had "obtained information to charge three juveniles with multiple counts of larceny and vandalism from the Stoneybrooke subdivision in Spotsylvania County."
"Detective Jim Lay and Detective Kelly Mills worked in cooperation with patrol deputies and the residents of Stoneybrooke to identify and obtain enough evidence to charge these juveniles," said a release from Cpt. Mike Harvey.

Harvey said these crimes were ongoing over a five-month period and "started with a major vandalism at the Luck Stone Quarry in which these three juveniles are accused of vandalizing building and equipment causing over $50,000 worth of damage."
The investigation is ongoing.
