FREDERICKSBURG, VA—Here's a pretty decent way to begin June, the first unofficial month of summer. It's the "Sip of Summer Festival," noon-10 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at Highmark Brewery, 390 Kings Highway.
We're talking live music all day, beer (hence the name), food, vendors and crafts—as well as activities for the kids such as hayrides, a petting zoo, face painting, a clown, flaming hula hoops, alpacas and more. Music will be provided by the Winstons Band, Darcy Dawn and Will Dabaldo.
