Stafford County Student Vying For Spot On National Talent Show
According to a report, Victoria Lynch, a Stafford High School sophomore, is among area residents competing on "A Celebration of Music."

STAFFORD, VA — A Stafford High School sophomore is vying for a spot on the national talent show, "A Celebration of Music." Victoria Lynch, 15, is among 24 contestants in the Baltimore region competing to perform on the national show, according to a report.
"A Celebration of Music" highlights musicians ranging in age from 4 to 25. Lynch — who started her music career by singing to her Barbie dolls at age 4, the Free Lance-Star reports — is hoping to be one of two Baltimore-area finalists to advance to Los Angeles to compete against winners from other cities.
Performances by Lynch will air this weekend on the PBS channel of Maryland Public Television. She will perform her version of “Nothing” from “A Chorus Line” at 10:30 a.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday.

One of the winners will be selected by the show’s producers and the other by viewers. Fans can vote for Lynch online at celebrationofmusic.com/victoria-lynch. The winners will be announced Oct. 24.
