Stafford Dems host CD1 Candidate Forum March 30

The Stafford County Democratic Committee is hosting a Candidate Forum with the three Democratic candidates running for the U.S. House of Representatives in Virginia's First Congressional District. The Forum will begin at 7 pm on Monday, March 30, at Porter Branch Library, 2001 Parkway Blvd. in Stafford. This event is open to the public and there is no charge for admission. The candidates invited to attend are Phillip Cox, Qasim Rashid and Vangie Williams. This is a great chance for voters to meet the candidates and to see where they sit on issues affecting our local Stafford area. The three will be listed on the ballot in the Congressional Primary on June 9 and the winner will go on to face Republican Rob Wittman in the General Election on Nov. 3.
