Stafford Man Charged In Fight Barricades Himself In Home: Police
The Stafford County Sheriff's Office claimed a man barricaded himself in a home after he was charged in a fight on Monday night.
STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A man from Stafford County faces charges after a fight on Monday night, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. Authorities claim that the man, Randy Rose, barricaded himself in a room when police attempted to contact him.
Around 10 p.m. on Monday evening, the sheriff's office responded to the 800 block of Bellow Avenue in Stafford to investigate a fight. When deputies arrived on the scene, they discovered that a man had been assaulted, according to a video that the sheriff's office posted on Facebook.
The victim received medical treatment from fire and rescue personnel at the scene, Major Shawn Kimmitz said in the video.

Officers investigated the incident and obtained arrest warrants for Rose. However, Kimmitz said that officers were originally unable to contact Rose at his home.
After authorities arrived at his home, police claimed that Rose barricaded himself inside a room. Members of the sheriff's office crisis intervention team were called to assist.

After members of the crisis intervention team initiated a dialogue, Rose left his room around 1 a.m. on Sunday morning, according to the sheriff's office. He was taken into custody without further incident.
Rose is charged with one count of malicious wounding. He was scheduled to be arraigned in Stafford General District Court on Tuesday morning.
