Stafford Man Pleads Guilty To Blackmailing Girl
The Stafford man, 28, faces 10 years for child pornography, other charges.
STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A Stafford man pleaded guilty Wednesday to child pornography and related charges stemming from an attempt to blackmail an 11-year-old girl by filming her in a shower, according to a media report. Gerardo Leonel Giron, 28, faces more than 10 years in prison when he's sentenced on April 23, the Free Lance-Star reported.
Stafford sheriff's deputies arrested Giron on Aug. 1 after the girl's mother found the video on Giron's computer, the newspaper reported.
According to a police affidavit, the child told her mother that Giron threatened to post the video on the Internet if she didn't kiss him on the lips. Giron later admitted to police that the story was true.

Giron pleaded guilty in Stafford Circuit Court to producing child pornography, unlawful filming of a minor and two misdemeanors, the Free Lance-Star reported. He also pleaded guilty to domestic assault and battery and violating a protective order,
