Teen Arrested, Charged With Double Stabbing In Stafford: Police

A teen from Stafford was charged with stabbing two people multiple times after an argument on Saturday, March 20.

STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A teenager in Stafford was arrested and charged in the stabbing of two people near Garrisonville Road on Saturday, March 20. The suspect was arrested at his home on Tuesday.

At 9 p.m. on Saturday, Stafford County deputies responded to a report of a stabbing and found a 19-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds, according to the sheriff's office. While first responders were helping the victim, they learned an 18-year-old man was also stabbed. The 18-year-old drove himself to the Stafford Hospital.

The 19-year-old victim was taken to the hospital by rescue personnel, according to a news release. Authorities said his injuries were serious, but not life-threatening.

The 18-year-old victim who drove himself to the hospital suffered more serious injuries. Authorities said his injuries were considered life-threatening, but he is now expected to survive.

Investigators determined the two victims were in a car parked on Crater Lane when the suspect confronted them. The victims exited their vehicle, and an argument ensued, police said. The argument ended when the suspect stabbed the two men multiple times.

Police did not say how one of the victims made it to the McDonald's on Garrisonville Road after he was stabbed on Crater Lane.

The suspect was arrested at his home in Stafford on Tuesday. He is charged with two counts of aggravated malicious wounding. He is being held at the Rappahannock Juvenile Center.
