Traffic Alerts: Milling, Paving and Pavement Marking in Fredericksburg
Avoid William Street at various intersections until the end of this week.
The City of Fredericksburg released additional traffic alerts for this week.
The left lane of William Street between Douglas and Prince Edward streets will be closed Thursday, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. The closure is for the milling and paving repairs over recent utility cuts.
On William & Sophia streets permanent pavement marking work will take place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Sept. 13. "Traffic flow will be disrupted but maintained through the intersection as the work proceeds," said the City of Fredericksburg. "Motorists are urged to reduce their speed, and watch for workers and equipment in the roadway while travelling through this area during this period."
