UMW Professor Wins Award for Paper
Associate professor of political science wrote about how the political parties are becoming more polarized.

Rosalyn Cooperman, associate professor of political science at the , has won an award for a paper published in 2010 in the American Political Science Review, according to the university.
Cooperman "has been named a 2012 recipient of the American Political Science Association’s Jack L. Walker Outstanding Article Award" for a paper she co-authored about the increasing polarization of the two major political parties.
"The award honors a paper published within the last two years that contributes to the discipline’s understanding of political organizations and parties," said a release from the university.
