Islam teaches the message of equality among all people who might appear different because of color of skin, origin or backgrounds. The Holy Quran states, “O mankind, We have created you from a male and a female; and We have made you into tribes
and sub-tribes that you may recognize one another. Verily, the most honorable among you, in the
sight of Allah, is he who is the most righteous among you. Surely, God is All-knowing, All-
Aware” (49:14). Everyone’s achievements should be acknowledged.
I like the motto “Love for All, Hatred for None” which wipes away all discriminations. That is what I believe in and want to tell others that history is filled with rich examples from every race, religion and culture. Once we are united, there will be no wall of color because nobody is privileged over the other based on the color of their skin.

I hope that we give respect to everyone and honor those who deserve it. There are many people who are no longer with us but still remain with us through their remarkable achievements. We must also honor everyone who is present today in our society and continue to do so.
